Obituary

DENTON, Richard Earle – age 78 of Kingston, NS passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Little River, he was a son of the late Clayton and Suzan (Manzer) Denton. Richard was the last surviving member of his family. He was a fisherman fishing the Bay of Fundy and later worked as a truck driver for many years for D. B. Kenney. Richard will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol Daisy Florence (Johnson); sons Trevor (Terri-Lynn), Kingston and Troy (Pam), Moncton, NB; grandchildren Ocean, Emily and Nathan; great grandchildren Khloe and Landan. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his son Matthew, in infancy; sisters Marjorie and Elsie; brothers Stanley, Frederick, Gregory, Clayton Jr. and Elwood. In keeping with Richard's wishes cremation has taken place.  There will be no visitation. A private graveside service and interment for both Richard & wife Carol took place at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Little River, Digby County, NS.
