BALCOM, Ricky Chester - age 52 of Port George, NS passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 14, 2015 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Middleton, he was a son of Olga (Conant) Balcom, Wilmot and the late Chester Balcom. Ricky was an avid motorcyclist and loved riding his Harley-Davidson. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed travelling. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife the former Nadine Whynot, Port George; his sisters, Carolyn Ann (Gary) Gates, Nictaux; Patricia ( Dale) Elliott, Spa Springs; Cyndi ( Eddy) Porter, Nictaux; his brothers, David (Diane) Balcom; Michael (Wendy) Balcom both of Nictaux; Keith (Nicole) Balcom, Lawrencetown and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ricky will also be sadly missed by his canine companion "Maya". In keeping with Ricky's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
