MacDonald, Rita – 80, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Valley Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Denmark, she was a daughter of the late Viola (Pedersen) Lund. Rita was employed with the Metropolitan Department Store in Greenwood for 20 years where she was a department manager. Rita loved bowling and was an avid gardener. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Ronald; daughter Tammy (David) Secord, Kingston; Shawn (Barbara) MacDonald, Fredericton; granddaughter Katelyn MacDonald, Fredericton; nieces Berit Lund and Susie Lund, both of Denmark. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her brother Curt Lund. There will be a private graveside service in the North Kingston Cemetery at a later date.
