Corey, Robert (Bob) Arnold, Age 62, Kentville, passed away peacefully, May 19, 2017 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, June 5, 1954, he was the son of the late Rev. E. Gideon and Maxine (Westcott ) Corey. Bob lived most of his life in the Annapolis Valley, a place he loved. He graduated from Acadia with a BSc and a BA and worked at Acadia as a librarian assistant until his health failed. Bob loved reading, genealogy, chess and taking University courses. Conversations with Bob almost always involved philosophy, history and the lives of famous people. Besides his parents Bob was pre-deceased by his brother James (Jim). Bob will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law, Marlene, extended family in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and friends in particular Heather and Doug. Special thanks to the staff of Dartmouth General Hospital for their wonderful care of Bob during the final weeks of his life.
