GEORGE, Robert "Gus" Charles – Age 74 of Casey Corner passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Robert and Doris (Carmichael) George. Gus worked at DND, Dartmouth as an Electronics Technician for 37.5 years. He was the founder and President of the Investment Club of his shop. Retiring to the Valley in 2002 he remained an active part of his community; he spent a lot of his time in his wood shop. He was an avid golfer and member of the Berwick Heights Golf Club. Robert loved getting together at the camp at Lake Charlotte with his family and friends. He loved his family dearly and had a special place in his heart for the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Sheila, daughter Nicole (Bobby Vaughan), Casey Corner, grandchildren, Hailee (Shane) Jordan, Ryan Guinchard, Newfoundland, Madison George, great grandchildren, Maisy Jordan, Peyton Jordan, Paige Jordan. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Donald and special great niece "Brianne". Special thanks to the VON caregiver team who made his day brighter!
