Dolomont, Robert Joseph - Age 83, of East Kingston Kings Co., passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born August 3, 1941, in North Sydney, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Gale) Dolomont. Robert joined the Military in 1959 and served with the RCAF for 28yrs. He met his wife Joan and was married in June of 1961 and began a family as they moved around being stationed at the various military bases. After retiring from the Military, he got into the trucking industry, where he was a truck driver for 10 years. Robert loved anything that flew in the air; he was a Radio-Controlled Enthusiast and was a member of the Apple Valley Flyers – flying remote control airplanes. Robert also had an interest in motorcycles. Robert is survived by his wife the former Lillian "Joan" Hillier; daughter, Lori-Lynn Cooper, Mississauga, ON; son, Kristopher (Angela), Halifax, NS; two grandchildren; sister, Joan (Charlie) Jenkins, North Sydney, NS.
