MORRICE, Robert Garnet "Bob" - 76, of Greenwood, NS formerly Elliott Lake, ON passed away peacefully Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton surrounded by his family. Born in San Francisco, California he was a son of the late Oswald and Doreen (Way) Morrice. Bob was retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force where he served as a radio technician. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge and a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Bob loved the outdoors, especially fishing and had a passion for woodcarving. He enjoyed knitting, reading, swimming and loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife, the former Charlotte "Ann" May; daughters, Brenda (Bruce) MacQueen, Vancouver, BC; Marie (Robert) Stroud, Cobourg, ON; son, Earl (Geraldine) Morrice, Kingston, NS; sister, Judy (David) Barrett, Portage la Prairie, MB; brother, Alexander (Connie) Morrice, Atikokan, ON; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. By request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service or visitation. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
