McGILL, Robert Leroy "Bob" - age 77, of Kingston, NS passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Carroll and Gladys (McGill) McGill. Bob was a retired developer who enjoyed model trains, gardening, fly fishing and historical novels. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, former Beverly Bell, Kingston; his daughters, Diane (Herbert) Hancock, Merrimack, New Hampshire; Pamela McGill, Kingston; his son, Steven (Jessica) McGill, Meadowvale; his brother, Gary McGill, Peabody, Massachusetts; his grandchildren Dylan, Madison, Piper, Mason and step-grandchildren Geret and Daniel. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald McGill and step-grandson Joshua. In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 21st at 3 pm in Whitman Cemetery, South Williamston with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations in memory may be made to charity of choice.
