Obituary

Dingwall, Robert Lewis (Lew) - 59 passed away suddenly June 29, 2012. Survived and desperately missed by, wife Laurel (Carter); sons, Ian (Jennifer Black), Jason (Michelle Montgomery). Parents Robert, St. Louis Mo; Elizabeth, Black Point NS; sisters, Laura (Turner) Hantsport NS, Susan (Anderson) St. Louis Mo and brother, Peter, Costa Rica. Born in Toronto, Lew was an Acadia University Alumnus. Worked in the Alberta Oilfield, before settling in Nova Scotia to raise his Family. He had many years of success operating, promoting and servicing Wood Mizer bandsaw mills in Atlantic Canada - recently retired. With his sons he enjoyed envolvement in the N.S. Guides Assoc., was an avid fisherman, gardener, woodworker and dog lover. Lew was most proud to be his sons father. He was loved & will be missed by many of all ages for his patience, wisdom, insights and good nature. Happy Trails Lew. Cremation has occured. An open house in Lew's honor will be held at his home in Aylesford, Sat. July 7th, 2012 from 1 - 4pm. Donations can be made in Lew's honor to the Harrison Lewis Coastal Discovery Centre and the Atlantic Salmon Federation.
