LIGHTBOURN, Robert Guy – 59 of Nictaux West passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 in the QE II, V.G. Site, Halifax. Born in Bermuda, he was the son of James and Patricia (Perks) Lightbourn of Bermuda. Robert was a graduate of Acadia University and operated his own roofing and waterproofing business. Any task that he chose to do, he did in a very meticulous manner. Robert enjoyed gardening, was very faithful to his church and dedicated to his family. Surviving besides his parents are his wife, the former Anne Medicraft; daughters Elizabeth Lightbourn, St. John's – NFLD, Katherine Lightbourn, Toronto – Ont.; son Donald Lightbourn, Nictaux West - NS; sister Tracey Madeiros, New Albany NS and Bermuda; brothers Brian and Mark both of Bermuda as well as several nieces and nephews. A public graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 24th, 2019 in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Albany, Pastor Paul Llewellyn and Pastor Ryan Fraser will be officiating. Following the service a reception will be held at 2:00p.m. at 5096 Highway 10, New Albany. By request, family flowers only.
