Obituary

OGILVIE, Robert Roy Joseph "Robby" - age 51, Weltons Corner, Kings Co. It is with great sadness in their hearts that the family announces his passing after a long and hard fought battle with cancer, on Friday, November 28, 2014, in Soldier's Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Berwick, on February 8, 1963, he was a son of Ruth (Toole) Ogilvie-Fitch (and husband Eugene), Greenwood Square, and the late Merrill Ogilvie. Robby worked on farms all of his life and later had operated heavy equipment at Sawler Gardens, Somerset. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed time spent with his horses. Family meant the world to Robby and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Besides his dear mother he survived by his loving wife, Stacy (Amero) Ogilvie; loving sons, Dillon and Adam Ogilvie, at home; special chosen daughter, Richelle (Shawn) Louie, Calgary, Alta.; two granddaughters; brother, Merrill (Judy) Ogilvie Jr., Weltons Corner; sister, Jane (Wendell) Rafuse, Auburn; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by brothers, Danny and Timmy Ogilvie. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 2, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., Middleton, toll free 1 (855) 825-3448, with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will take place in the Round Hill Cemetery, at a later date. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to the Kings Co.
