SILL, Robert "Kent" - Passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Heart of the Valley Long Term Care. Born in Middle Stewiake, he was a son of the late Robert and Margaret (Kent) Sill. Kent spent 30years in the Military with postings in Germany, Chatham, Comax and his last posting from which he retired, Greenwood. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree and Queen of Heaven Chapel Community. Kent loved old time country music and taking walks with Angeline and their faithful companion, Benji. Kent will be sadly missed by his wife, Angeline, daughter, Cathy Marie (Steven) White, Wainwright, AB, son, Robert "Jason" Sill, Oromocto, NB, sister, Christy (Al) Mongeon, Ottawa, brothers, Reginald (Mary) Sill, Middle Stewiake , Grant (Tammy) Sill, Middle Stewiake, and grandchildren, Jessika and Timothy White. He was predeceased by sister, Marion Geldart and brother, Richard Sill. There will be a Funeral Mass, 11:00 AM, Monday, September 10, at Queen of Heaven Chapel, 14 Wing Greenwood with Father George Helou and Father Michael Conteh officiating with reception to follow. A private family interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston. Donations in Kent's memory can be made to Parkinson Canada Foundation or Heart of the Valley LTC Recreation Department.
