HALLADAY (Robinson), Roberta Eleanor ~ age 78, Nictaux, Annapolis Co.  Born on October 14, 1942, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Elizabeth (Cowan) Robinson. Roberta married Leonard "Wayne" Halladay on April 11, 1964, at the navy air base in Shearwater, NS. Their family consisted of three daughters, Deborah (Larry) Wotton, Donna (Terry) Lawlor, and Christine Halladay; five grandchildren Tyler (Courtney), Natasha, Brianne, Lauren, and Max; brothers Charles and Jim (Mae); sister-in-law Donna. Roberta was Wayne's best friend. To her family, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Roberta loved Ireland, singing with the Middleton Choral Society, and friends like the Valley Pearls. She enjoyed sports such as tennis, bowling, and golf. She loved travelling and meeting new people everywhere. Roberta enjoyed her life with Wayne in the military, her years on a farm in New Albany and her final years of retirement in Nictaux. Roberta passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time. If one wishes, donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. Roberta will be missed by all family, friends and anyone who was lucky enough to meet or cross paths with Bert over her years and many travels. Roberta will be loved forever.
