BUDGELL, William "Rodney" Norman ~ age 55 of Granville Ferry, NS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Cottrell's Cove, Nfld, Rodney was a son of Audrey (Fudge) Budgell, Botwood, Nfld and the late Leonard Budgell.
Rodney spent many years as a flagger – nine years with AWP Safety; seven years with Atlantic Arbourists doing groundwork and flagging, as well as a few other companies. Fishing was his favorite pastime, and he was continuously looking for the best fishing spot.
Rodney is survived by his mother, Audrey Budgell; his loving spouse of 17 years, Marsha Ells; daughters, Courtney Budgell, NB; Brittany (Dawson Sabean) Shermetta, Granville Ferry; sons, Tyler Budgell, Victoria Beach; M.J.
