GRANT, Rodney Eugene-Age 63 of Bridgetown, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.  Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Freeman and Matilda (Vidito) Grant.  Rodney enjoyed woodworking and vegetable gardening. He loved his family and dogs dearly and enjoyed teasing and tormenting his grandchildren and their friends.  Rodney is survived by daughters, Norva Bent (Henry Lewis), Port Lorne and Heather (James) Reay, Bridgetown; sisters, Myrtle Melanson (John Deary), New Minas and Carolyn Carr (Cliff Solsman), Bear River; brother, Glen (Judy) Grant, Berwick; many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, Damion (Missy); Chelsey (Kyle); Austin; Destinee (Dustin) and Mickaela (Ethan) and great grandchildren, Maria and Ivan.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, the former Fern Oliver and brothers, Ronald and Blair and son-in-law Steven Bent and brothers-in-law Jack Carr and John Melanson. Visitation will be held 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM Sunday, January 10, 2016in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448. The funeral service will be held 2:00PM, Monday, January 11, 2016 in the Clarence Baptist Church with Rev.  John S.
