BILLARD, Rodney Martin "Marty" - We are saddened to announce the passing of our son and brother Rodney Martin "Marty" Billard age 57 of New Glasgow, NS at Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton, ON on July 15, 2015. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Rodney Winston Billard and the late Madeline Billard (Crewe). He is survived by sister Wanda Cole of Regina and brother William (Julie) Billard of Florida; his sons Richard and Ryan of Edmonton, AB; his daughter Trinity, Pictou Landing, NS; his step-sons David Rhyno, Michael Rhyno and Steven Rhyno of Caledonia, ON; his nephew Bradley Cole and his niece Laura Cole of Middleton, NS. Marty was a long haul truck driver for DeMont's Transport. He was a fan of Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. Marty loved his Newfoundland Heritage. In keeping with Marty's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date in Newfoundland.
