COMEAU, Roger Gerald – age 62, of Marshalltown, Digby County, passed away on July 11, 2017. He lived his last days at home, surrounded by loved ones. Roger was the oldest son of Pauline (Hall) and the late Gerald Comeau. He was employed for many years as a surveyor with Scotia Surveys. Roger was very caring and always put others before himself. He loved spending time with the love of his life, Chris, and their dog Sammy; being a Dad to his three "boys" and a Papa to his precious grandsons. He was a talented artist and loved to draw. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. Roger will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. Besides his mother, he is survived by his partner, Christine Orde; sons Darcy (Ciana Arshinova), Brandon, both of Grande Prairie, AB, and Joshua (Vera Denton) of Beaverbank, NS; grandsons, Joel and Brady, and step-grandson, Jack; brothers Scott (Robyn), Bridgewater; Perry (Kelly), Acaciaville; and Tracy (Kelly), Stewiacke; sister Bonnie Daley (Jim Rousseau), Aylesford; several nieces and nephews. By request cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday July 16th, at Trinity Anglican Church, Digby, NS, with Rev. Laura McCue and Lou Outhouse officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448.
