Obituary

TEED, Roger Roy – age 77 of Digby, NS formerly of Freeport, NS passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in the Digby General Hospital. Born in Freeport, he was a son of the late Herman and Anna Marie (Small) Teed. Roger loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. Roger was a Village Commissioner for a time, participated with Fundy Search and Rescue; Freeport Fire Department; and the "Good for Nothing Club" with his cronies and the "Senate" with the same cronies all in Freeport. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, the former Brenda Thurber, Digby; sons, Jeffrey (Helen) Teed, Freeport; Stephen (Denice) Teed, Bridgewater; sister-in-law, Pat Teed, Ottawa; grandchildren, Amanda, Alyssa, Sasha and Tucker; nephew, Scott Teed of Ottawa and niece, Alanna Teed-Lacroix of Ottawa; and aunt, Joyce Small of TideView Terrace, Digby. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Clyde Teed. In keeping with Roger's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Donations in memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Digby; or Brookside Cemetery, Freeport. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448.
