Obituary

HUBLEY, Ronald Lloyd "Ronnie" ~ age 68 of Lawrencetown, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at home. He was the foster son of the late Elmer and Nina Woodworth. Ronnie worked as an equipment operator and had retired after many years working with Lafarge Canada. He loved tinkering with cars and trucks, earning himself the name "Hub Cap". Ronnie had a great sense of humour and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his companion, Dianne, Lawrencetown; son, Corey (Sarah) Stoddart, Wilmot; sisters, Betty, Paradise and Nellie, Kingston; Carol, Great Village; Doreen, Quebec; foster sister, Mary Villeneuve, Nictaux; foster brother-in-law, Harold (Barb) Baker, Hampton; grandchildren, Chloe, Cody, Mackayla, Robert and Elizabeth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his foster parents, Ronnie was predeceased by sister, Jean; foster sisters, Thelma MacLean and Freda Baker and brother, Robert. Cremation has taken place and a visitation will be held 7-9 PM, Monday, April 23rd in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 24th in Whitman Cemetery, South Williamston with Rev. Eugene Foster officiating .
