McKINLAY, Ronald Daniel
– age 85, of Kingston, Kings Co., N.S. It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was a son of the late Daniel and Betsy (Cleghorn) McKinlay. Ronald loved animals and enjoyed many happy camping trips over the years. He was an electrician for 40 years, retiring from Froxboro. Surviving are his daughter, Wendy (Yves) Perreault, Kingston; grandchildren, Sarah and Nicholas ; wife the former Becky Emma Townsend. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, the former Louise E. Stephenson. There will be no visitation. Memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the evening on Wednesday, February 22, in Paradise United Baptist Church, 10273 Hwy 1, Paradise. Rev. Mark Reece officiating, with a reception to follow. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Kings Co. S.P.C.A.
