RUGGLES, Ronald "Gary" – Age 76, of Nictaux, Annapolis Co., N.S., passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on March 17, 1949, in Middleton, he was a son of the late Wylie C. and Jean A. (Neily) Ruggles. Gary had worked as a cabinet maker, retiring from RONA Cash and Carry Building Supplies, Middleton. He enjoyed many hours spent in his woodworking shop. Gary was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays fan. Surviving are his brother, Charles "Charlie" (Bunny) Ruggles, Nictaux; nephews, Christopher (Nevada Denney) Ruggles, Calgary, Alberta; and Dennis (Melissa) Ruggles, of Steam Mill; great nieces and nephews, Dakota, Sophia, Owen and Aria. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Dwight Ruggles. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend the graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, in Nictaux Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff Milne officiating. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to Nictaux Cemetery or to your favourite charity.
