Obituary

BUCKLER, Rosco Lawrence ~ Age 93, of Kingston, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, in Grand View Manor, Berwick, with his wife and sister by his side. Born on November 12, 1926, in West Dalhousie, Annapolis Co., he was a son of the late Clifford C. and Lillian J. (Robar) Buckler. Rosco was brought up in West Dalhousie, and at an early age enjoyed log rolling and being a lumber jack. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was an active member of the Kingston Congregation. Rosco loved time spent in the outdoors with his work and at home. Surviving are his wife of 24 years, the former Maureen E.K. Feeney – Lloyd, Kingston; stepdaughters, Rosemary (Martin) Putsey, England; Sarah (Gary) Parent, Saulnierville; step grandchildren, Josiah and Jachin; sisters, Hazel (the late Fred) Joudrey, Kingston; Ruth (the late Calvin) Manuel, West Dalhousie; Lillian (the late Freeland) Acker, Hamilton, Ont.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Mabel Buckler in infancy; brother, Norman (Audrey) Buckler. A private interment will take place in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square. No flowers by request, donations in his memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
