Obituary

GREENE, Rosalin Ann ~ age 79, of South Farmington, Annapolis county passed away peacefully August 12, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Born December 26, 1940 she was a daughter of the late Glidden and Lydia (Whitman) O'Neil. Rosie took great joy in the many outings to the shore she shared with her son Buddy and spoke often of their adventures together. You would always know where Rosie would be at 5 o'clock, watching the evening news with a set of knitting needles in her hands and her spoiled cat 'Pinky toes' by her side. She is survived by her daughter, Holly (Terry) Hearn; Tracey (Greg) MacKenzie; Buddy (Laura) Bent, and Timothy Hannam; her sisters, Marilyn (Allan) Brown and Blanche (Lloyd) Green; her grandchildren Jason, Kristen, Sharon, Denise, Curtis, Jeremy, Samantha and Kate-lynn Rose and several great grandchildren. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lori Burgess and her palliative care team and a special thank you to Anna Goski for going above and beyond with your kindness and compassion you have shown. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital and Dr. Sarah Ward for the unwavering kindness you showed to our mother. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown with Rev. Barbara Bishop officiating. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Online guestbook may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
