GRANT, Rose Marie- age 53 of Kingston passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the QEII - Infirmary site, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Edna (Mitchell) Oliver. Rose enjoyed her pet dogs and attending church with her friends. She is survived by daughter, Joanne (Michael) Mazalin, Brickton; son, Kendall (Crystal) Hogeboom, Kentville; sister, Maggie Sabean, Middleton; brothers, James Oliver, Kingston; Douglas (Christine) Oliver, Middleton; Percy Oliver, Halifax; Gary Oliver, Alberta; John Oliver (Edith Young), Meadowvale and grandsons, Devin and Jacob. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Blair and an infant daughter, Ruby. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at the Paradise Cemetery at a later date with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations in memory of Rose may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
