WOODROFFE (McMaster), Rosemary Linda - 76 of Kingston passed away peacefully, on Saturday, October 29, 2011 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville with her family by her side. Born in Harmony, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Hazel (Saunders) McMaster. Rosemary was a graduate of the Kingston Bible College and Mack Business College. Rosemary dearly loved her children and grandchildren and was very proud of their accomplishments. She spent many great summers at her cottage at Trout Lake. Rosemary and Bob thoroughly enjoyed their eleven years as winter residents of Ranchero Village in Largo, Florida. She was predeceased by her son Stephen Yarr and grandson Tristan Yarr. She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob); sons Michael (Tracy) Yarr, Victoria, B.C.; Kevin Yarr (Susan Brown), Charlottetown, P.E.I.; daughter Gina (Scott) Peckford, Kingston; daughter-in-law, Denise DeLaat, Ottawa; grandchildren, Colin Yarr, Victoria; Emily and Riley Peckford, Kingston; William and Ellen Yarr, Charlottetown; sisters Verna Ball, Ottawa; Carole (Steve) Hemenway, Kingston; brother Jim McMaster (Connie Harry), Kingston and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011in the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 where a memorial service and celebration of Rosemary's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2nd, Rev. Leon Langille officiating with a reception to follow. Private interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery. Rosemary's family extends sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the ICU at Valley Regional Hospital for their wonderful care.
