Bishop, Ross Alexander "Sandy" ~ 70 of Wilmot, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in QEII – Halifax Infirmary.  Born in Middleton, he was a son of Ronald and the late Mary (Marshall) Bishop. Sandy could master anything he set his mind to. He was a carpenter by trade but had interests in geology, science, black and white photography and mechanics.  Sandy loved to drive his motorcycle, and he built a boat as his passion was sailing. He was known to have many esoteric conversations over coffee with friends and family. Sandy stayed true to his path and embraced a simple lifestyle. Sandy is survived by his partner of 15 years, Barb Veinot, Middleton; his father, Ron Bishop, Port Lorne; daughters, Layla (Michael) Brobbel, Harbourville; Isa (Scott) Bishop-Gates, Forest Glade; grandchildren, Annika and Ari Brobbel; brothers, Lawrence "Larry" Bishop, PEI and Jerry Bishop, Cave Junction, Oregon, USA. Sandy was predeceased by his mother, Mary. Cremation has taken place as per Sandy's wishes. Donations in memory may be made to Kings County SPCA or World Wildlife Fund.
