Ross Ashley Weaver

WEAVER, Ross Ashley ~ Age 73, of East Margaretsville, Annapolis Co., N.S., passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on July 25, 1953, in Middleton, he was the son of the late Rupert A. and Margaret I. (MacMurtery) Weaver.

Ross worked for many years as a truck driver, retiring from Armour Transport. He enjoyed time spent hunting with Robbie Jamieson. Ross played hockey with the Margaretsville Marlins, and his teammate was Harold Baker. He was famous for checking guys into the boards. Ross loved to dance, especially dances held at the Margaretsville Fire Hall. He will be remembered by his lifelong friend, Russell Freeman.

Surviving are his son, Blaine (Chantal), and grandson, Walter of Timberlea; former spouse, Jacqueline, Annapolis Royal; sisters, Denise Weaver, Margaretsville; Davlyn Book, Halifax; five nieces and nephews.
