DURLING, Ryan Matthew – Age 21 of Margaretsville, NS, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 10, 2018, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Allan and Pamela (Chute) Durling, Margaretsville, NS. Ryan was a graduate of Middleton Regional High School and attended NSCC Annapolis Valley Campus in Middleton. He was employed with the Annavale Country Store, Middleton, A.W. Allen Home Building Centre and with EFR Environmental. Ryan was a member of the Margaretsville & District Fire Department and loved tae kwon do, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Ryan will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mom and dad, Allan and Pam Durling; his sister, Justine (Sean) Keddy, Margaretsville; his brother, Mitchell Durling (Courtney Allison), Margaretsville; girlfriend, Sereena Carlton-Neal, Canning; maternal grandmother, Sandra Chute (Donald Milbury), Margaretsville; aunt, Donna (Frank) Nowe, Meadowvale; uncles, Trevor Chute (Lynda Morine), Hantsport; Greg (Shelley) Durling, Margaretsville; niece, Nora Keddy; nephew, Keith Keddy and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Stanley "Gene" Chute; paternal grandparents, Frank and Isabell Durling and uncle, Paul Durling. Visitation will be held 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 4:00 pm,Wednesday, May 16, 2018, with Rev. Patty Beals officiating. Interment will be in the Nictaux Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the Margaretsville Fire Hall. All are welcome.
