Obituary

CLARK, Sally Ann ~ Age 80, of Berwick, Kings Co., N.S., passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born on May 4, 1944, in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Marjorie A. (MacLean) Lewis.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Kenneth B. Clark; daughters, Mary Jane Clark Woodworth (Robert), Berwick; Victoria Ann Lewis "Tory" Clark (Mike Centrone), Enfield; son, Charles Ewan Bradford Clark (Ilona Cater), Takapuna, New Zealand; grandchildren, Alexandra, Kyle, Megan, Bailey, Kaitlin, Nick, Zak, Ben, John, Calen and Sadie; great grandchildren, Oaka, Magnolia, Emelia, Finn, Veronica, Emily and Finnegan; sister, Mary Jane (the late Douglas) Sears, Dartmouth; brother, George (Margie) Lewis, Truro; several very special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sally spent her formative years in Truro, and attended Edgehill School in Windsor, and was Head Girl in her senior year. She was an active and fiercely competitive athlete playing basketball, field hockey and was an accomplished horsewoman. Sally later attended the University of King's College, Halifax, she and Ken married in 1964.  Family and friendships were everything to Sally - she was a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother and best friend. She was a relentless champion for those unable to advocate for themselves. She was full of energy and determination. Sally was someone you wanted on your team.

She lived in many places around the world including; Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Manitoba, New Zealand and the Fiji Islands. She played a key role in Ken's career, they enjoyed being immersed in new cultures, meeting new friends, experiencing life and taking on challenges together. She was a qualified travel agent and personal assistant and served as Chairperson for the New Brunswick arm of the IWK Telethon for several years. Sally brought passion and direction to everything she chose to take on.

You are invited to join friends and family as we gather to remember and celebrate the unique and amazing life of Sally from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 26, 2025 , in Christ Anglican Church Hall (behind the Church) 238 Commercial Street, Berwick, Nova Scotia. Please join us at this special gathering to reflect, share memories, and celebrate the lasting impact Sally had on so many. We look forward to your presence as we cherish the memories of a life well-lived. You are encouraged to come and share your stories and fond memories of Sally.
