It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of our mother Sally Marie Janes (91, of Morden, NS). Our mother passed away peacefully with her family by her side, January 17, 2024.

Marie, by the wings of an angel has been lifted up to dwell within the presence of our Lord in Heaven.

Marie is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Roy Elwin Janes, parents, Michael Murphy, and Rita (Hall) Murphy, brother John (Carmel), and sisters Eileen (Michael Cleary), and Paula (Frank Buck).

Marie is survived by her five children Michael (Mary Ann), Edmonton AB, Paula (Mark Woodland), Kingston NS, Rick (Donna), Beaverbank NS, Chris (Cathy), Kingston NS and John (Teresa), Morden NS. Marie is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and another great grandson due in February.

Marie enjoyed sewing, porcelain dolls, gardening, knitting and crocheting. She took immense joy knitting small hats and baby blankets, donating them to be given out to newborns in local hospitals.
