COMEAU, Selina age 95 of Brickton, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in England, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Barnes) Henson and the last surviving member of her immediate family. Selina was a veteran of the Second World War, having served in the British Army. She came to Canada as a War Bride and is survived by daughters, June (Gordon) Dorey, Brickton; Linda (Garnet) Taylor, Paradise; Josie Comeau, Carleton Corner; Bernadette (John) Ouellette, Dieppe, NB; Lena (Jimmy) Warren, Moncton; Joeanne (Jerry) Dyck, Winnipeg and sons, Leo (Sandra) Comeau, Wilmot and Al Comeau (Mary Ellen Ripley), Thunder Bay; 20 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Leo Comeau; sisters, Margaret, Gladys and Jane. Visitation will be held 2:00 to 4:00PM, Sunday, August 10, 2014 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448, where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, August 11, 2014 with Rev. Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston.
