Beardsley, Sharon Marie – 77, of Kingston, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Florence (MacDonnell) Smith. Sharon was a radiography technician for 37 years at Valley Regional Hospital. She was a volunteer with the Kingston Lionettes, Canadian Cancer Society and Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Gift Shop.

Sharon may be best remembered for her butter yellow VW convertible and her famous coconut cream pies. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter Michelle (David) Shears, Yellowknife, NT; son Brad (Renee) Beardsley, Kingston; grandchildren Abby, Emily, James, and Addison; sister Betty Jean Smith, Berwick; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her husband Thomas "Tom", brother Ronald, and sister Cora.

A reception to Celebrate the Life of Sharon will be held from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in the Kingston Lions Hall, 1482 Veteran's Lane. All are welcome.  Private family interment took place in North Kingston Cemetery.
