CURRIE -VEINOT, Sharon Lee ~ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing Sharon Lee Currie-Veinot, age 54 of Tremont, on April 9, 2018 at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of Bert Currie and Dianne Gould. Sharon recently graduated from COGGS Campus in Lawrencetown with a Geomatics Engineering Technology degree. She loved spending time with her family and friends at the camp she built in the woods, camping in her camper and using her hands to build projects in her woodshop. She leaves behind her parents, Bert (Sally), North Kingston; Dianne (Al) of Wilmot; her husband, Carroll Veinot; sons, Shannon (Emily) Newhook, Brampton, Ont.; Brandon (Selene) Newhook, Kelowna, BC; Nathan (Bryanna) MacDonald, Edmonton, AB; grandsons, Bentley and Dillon; granddaughter, Chantelle; stepchildren, Sandy (Ian) Veinot, Sackville; Kelia (Erin) Veinot, Nictaux; step-grandchildren, Violet, Brooklynn and Logan. She was predeceased by her brother, Ian Currie. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place 2- 4 pm Saturday, April 21st in the Kingston Fire Hall, 570 Sparky St., Kingston . Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Kingston & District Fire Department or to your favourite charity.
