Garrison, Sharon Evalena – 82, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2026 in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Annapolis Royal, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy (Pitman) Connell. Sharon was a dedicated member of the Lawrencetown Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She worked at Lawrencetown Fire Department Restaurant and The Big Scoop. Later, she worked at Mountain Lea Lodge as a nursing assistant. Sharon enjoyed gardening. Sunsets in Port George and watching events at Valley Raceway with John were a few of her favorite pastimes.Surviving is her daughter, Judy (James) Rector, Aylesford; son, Dewayne (Pam) Garrison, South Williamston; grandchildren, Brittany Garrison, Jason Garrison, Jesse (Jessica) Shaw; Christopher Garrison, Sarah Garrison; step-grandchildren, Carly Floris, Samantha Llewellyn, Jeremy Floris; ten great grandchildren; special friend, John Sherman, Nictaux; brothers, David Connell (Hilda Durling), Bridgetown; Wayne (Roberta), Granville Centre; Kenneth (Pat), Parkers Cove; John (Sandy) Granville Centre; Richard (Candy), Granville Centre.Along with her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Ronald. There will be a graveside service held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2026 in North Kingston Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff Milne officiating.Donations in memory may be made to the North Kingston Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448.
