Higgins, Sherman "Mike" Melvin – Age 69 yrs of Kingston, Kings Co., passed away Saturday August 29, 2020 at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Mike will be remembered for his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, gardening, fishing and feeding the birds and chipmunks. He worked as an auto body mechanic and thoroughly loved his job. He enjoyed working on his own vehicles at home. Mike was a jack of all trades. He could fix anything. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Wood, Kingston; sons, Troy (Nicole Coleman), Torbrook, Barry (Erin Sproule), Torbrook, Matthew (Savannah Tingley), North Kingston; daughter, Amanda (Mike Richards) Wood, Wilmot; sisters, Hilda Higgins, Victoria, BC, Debbie Carter, Amherst, Angela MacKenzie, Trout Lake; grandchildren, Haley Higgins, Noah Higgins and Paul Wood. Mike was predeceased by his son, Mikey Higgins; sister, Peggy Connell; brother in infancy, Paul Higgins. A graveside committal service for Mike and his son, Mikey will be held Wednesday September 2 ^nd , 2020 at 2 pm in North Kingston Cemetery. Larry Sproule officiating.
