LEE, Shirley ~ Age 83, of Berwick, formerly of Dempsey Corner, Kings Co., passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.  Born on August 3, 1936, in Belleoram, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Loran and Sophia (Belmore) Barnes. Shirley had worked in Accounting and Finance at Dupont Corporation, Montreal for many years, later helping her husband on the family farm.  She enjoyed time spent curling.Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Francis D. "Frank" Lee, Berwick; sisters, Winnifred Chedore and Gladys (Charlie) Bartlett, both of Spryfield, brothers, Melvin (Joyce) Barnes, Spryfield; Robert Barnes (Thelma Lycett), Bedford; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Mary (Michael) Adams; brother, Joseph Barnes; two infant brothers, Harold William and Loran Thomas; brother-in-law, Elgar Chedore. There will be no visitation. A service in remembrance of Shirley's life will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 15, in Christ Anglican Church, 238 Commercial Street, Berwick.  Rev. Mel Malton officiating, assisted by Rev. Fr. John MacPherson.  A reception will follow in the church hall, with interment in Berwick Cemetery.
