WARD, Stanford Harold – of Lawrencetown, NS. Born February 25, 1936 passed away, April 30, 2018 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton, NS. Stan joined the Black Watch at an early age. Later he spent many years working on the gypsum boats out of Hantsport, NS, and then worked at the Dept. of Lands and Forests in Lawrencetown. He loved to hunt, fish, and trap and spent many happy hours in his canoe on the Annapolis River. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Ward, his companion of many years Kay Rabadul, brother, Donald, sister, Peggy and brother in law, Jeff Wilson. He is survived by sister, Beverly (Arthur) Ritchie, Betty Wilson and Barbara (Leonard) Woods. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date..
