FASH, Stanley Arthur - 93, of Middleton formerly of Lawrencetown passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Veterans Unit - Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Hampton, NS he was a son of the late Ernest and Leona (Mitchell) Fash. Stanley was a veteran of the Second World War having served overseas. Later he worked at CFB Cornwallis doing maintenance work and enjoyed playing cards, hunting and fishing. He is survived by stepdaughter, Vivian Saunders, West Paradise; stepson, Terry Healy, Phinney Cove and longtime caregivers Carol and Wayne Shearer, Greenwood. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Minnie, stepsons Oscar and Fred and brother Donald. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Hampton Cemetery with Juanita Richardson officiating.
