BERRY, Stephen Lamont "Steve" ~ With great sorrow, the family of  Stephen Lamont Berry announce his passing on June 16, 2019 in Kingston, at the age of 61.  Steve was born January 30, 1958, son of the late Claude and Pauline (Jones) Berry.  Survived by sisters, Kathy (Berry) Connell, Kingston; Kim Berry (Bob Moore), Melvern Square; brother, Andy Berry (Darlene Lightfoot), Wilmot; nieces, Tricia (Connell) Merrick, Edmonton AB; Jess (Brian) Bain, Aylesford; step-niece Taryn (Daniel) Brossard, Sask. and nephew, Bradford (Tiffany) Berry, Mount Uniacke.  Besides his parents, Steve was predeceased by brother, Sheldon and brother-in-law David Connell. Steve was a man who lived his life by no set rules.  He loved the outdoors, loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and had some interesting stories he could tell! Steve loved to read, whether it be a Stephen King novel or a book by David Whitman and when he was younger, he was a true Star Trek fan.  He will be missed by many. Our hearts are broken. With heavy hearts, the family want to sincerely thank Angie Burns, Mary Whyte and Greg Peck for always being there, the best kind of friends. In keeping with Steve's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.  A Legion service and celebration of Steve's life will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, June 19 ^th at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #98, Kingston with interment in the North Kingston Cemetery.
