MacDonald, Stephen Glen ~ age 71 of Lawrencetown, Annapolis County, NS passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in East York, Ontario he was a son of the late Francis and Della (McLearn) MacDonald. Stephen retired after more than 30 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Flight Engineer. He joined at 17 years old and completed his basic training at CFB Cornwallis. Throughout his career, Stephen served as part of the United Nations Operation in Cyprus and NATO forces in Germany and Kosovo. It was in Cyprus in 1975 that he met Moira. They married the following year.  After retirement, he became a long-haul truck driver working for various companies. Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Moira (Berry), Lawrencetown; daughter, Justine MacDonald, Kentville; son, Tristan MacDonald, Lawrencetown and his sister, Donna Johnson, Toronto. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Carol and twin brothers in infancy Weldon and Bernard. In keeping with Stephen's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering will happen at a later date.
