BENT, Steven William-39 of Port Lorne, NS passed away suddenly as a result of a motor vehicle accident, Thursday, September 13, 2012 near Bridgetown, NS. Born in Middleton, NS he was a son of Joseph and Dianne (Sabean) Bent, East Arlington, NS. Steven was a Captain in the Port Lorne and District Fire Department having served 20 years. He was employed as a forklift operator with Michelin, Waterville. Steven spent 14 years fishing lobster and halibut with Scotiamist Fisheries. He loved playing hockey, golf; was an avid hockey card collector and Xbox gamer. He was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Norva Grant; daughter, Mickaela; sons, Damion (Melissa Pearle) and Austin, all of Port Lorne; sister, Patricia (Jeremy) Fowler, Port Lorne; brother, James (Lori) Bent, Windsor, NS and granddaughter, Maria. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9PM, Monday, September 17, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, September 18, 2012 with Rev.
