WILSON, Steven John – age 60 of Paradise, NS passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton surrounded by his family, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Ingersoll, Ontario he was the son of Shirley (nee Connor) Wilson and the late Everett Wilson. Steve was in sales for 18 years with Blue Line New Holland, Lawrencetown. He also came from six generations of dairy farmers. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed baseball, curling and golfing. Steve was the beloved husband of Christine and is survived by his children, grandchildren, mother, brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his father, who was waiting for him, just as Steve will wait for his loved ones who are left behind. In keeping with Steve's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held 11:00AM Friday, July 20, 2018 in St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church, 41 Connaught Avenue, Middleton with Father John MacPherson and Father Jose Thomas officiating. Interment will be in St. Monica's Cemetery, Middleton. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to any animal shelter of your choice.
