HILTZ, Susan Glenda ~ Age 59, passed away August 29, 2019, at home, held in the loving arms of her husband, Danny and her ever faithful companion, Casey by her side. Susan was a kind soul with a huge heart, especially for stray kittens and animals or people that were suffering. She loved drives in her little convertible, and spending time with family and friends, long walks on the beach and collecting sea glass. She had a passion for shopping for antique jewelry and collectables and could never resist "a really good bargain", especially if it sparkled. She cherished her life with Danny and their time snowmobiling, watching their grandchildren grow and going on trips to PEI and Jamaica. Besides her husband, Susan will be sadly missed by her step daughters, Tracey (Dave) Kourie, Columbus, Ohio;  Amy Hiltz (Derek), Ottawa, Ont.; step son, Daniel (Erika), New Ross; sister, Sharon Stevens, Beaverbank; brother, Wade (Laura) Keillor, New Ross; sister-in-law, Anne Keillor-Selig, Beaverbank; step grandchildren, Danielle, Lucas, Carter, Beau and Parker; nephew, Ben; and nieces, Rebeca, Erin, Melissa and Jennifer. Besides her parents Susan was predeceased by her brother, Garry and infant sister, Belinda.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 - 8 p.m., Friday, October 25 , in Forties Community Centre, 1787 Forties Rd., Forties, Lunenburg Co. Donations in Susan's memory can be made to Victorian Order of Nurses, Palliative Care, New Ross Volunteer Fire Department or any local animal shelter.
