Johnson LaCroix, Susan Marie - age 77 of Kingston, NS passed away peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in the early hours of July 28th, 2023.

Born in Middleton, Susan was the daughter of the late Curtis and Florence (Mitchell) Johnson. She attended the Kingston Baptist United Church, where she was a member of the Social and Benevolent Club.  She also loved volunteering her time with the Ladies Auxiliary at the Kingston Fire Hall. Susan was an avid reader and most happy when she was surrounded by her books.

She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Yvon LaCroix, formerly of Montreal, her daughters Susie (Scott Richardson) and Wendy (Paul McRae), her son Craig as well as her precious grandchildren, Lauren, Shayne, Amanda, Colin, and Jonathan.

She is survived by her brothers William (Mimi) of Fall River, Joseph (Natalie) of Lawrencetown, and Ryan (Sharon) of Penticton as well as her sister Mary of Truro.

She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and friends in the community.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
