LUTZ, Timothy Allen "Tim" – age 52 of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at home. Born in Yarmouth on June 28, 1964, he was a son of Dianne M. (Forbes) Muise, Yarmouth, and adopted son of the late Lorimer and Jeanette (Kelley) Lutz. Tim was a veteran member of the Berwick & District Volunteer Fire Department and was active until his illness with 30 plus years of service. He worked at Kinsman Construction for 28 years. Besides his mother, he is survived by step-father, Walter Muise, Yarmouth; lifelong friend and mother of his children, Moira Russell, Kentville; son, Chad Russell-Lutz; step-son, Brian Russell, both of Berwick; step-daughter, Cheryl Russell, Toronto, Ont.; brother, Murray (Patsy) Muise; sister, Nicole Newell (Dave Doucette), both of Yarmouth; nieces, Meghann and Amber; nephews, Andrew and Michael; several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Michael Muise. There will be no visitation. All are welcome to attend Tim's funeral service at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 21, in the Berwick & District Volunteer Fire Hall, 300 Commercial St., Berwick, with a reception to follow. Interment will be in Berwick Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Berwick & District Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of one's choice.
