Timothy John
Bowser
March 23, 1953 – April 28, 2022
Bowser, Timothy John ~ died quietly at home on April 28, 2022. Born on March 23, 1953, Tim lived in Dartmouth until 2001 when he retired from Hewlett-Packard as a Hardware Support Technician and moved with Connie and their armload of dogs and cats to a 40-acre farm on North Mountain in the Annapolis Valley. Over the years, they filled their lives with an assortment of farm critters: chickens and ducks, geese and turkeys, goats, and eventually three magnificent Haflinger horses. Tim leaves behind his wife, Connie; son, Richard (Samantha); stepson, Shea Armstrong; granddaughter, Avida; nephews, Jay (Shawna) and Adam (Cindy). He was predeceased by his parents as well as his brother, Robert and Robert's wife, Dulcie. In his quiet, calm way, Tim was happiest in the company of animals, and was forever bringing home rescued dogs and cats. He was a man who could build or fix anything, from the barn he built single-handedly, to plumbing, to wiring, to welding, to replacing bits and pieces of his beloved old Massey Ferguson tractor, to figuring out the delicate and miraculous intricacies of computers. There was nothing Tim wouldn't tackle, nothing he couldn't do. He loved hanging around with his horses and was an active member of the Nova Scotia and Canadian Haflinger Clubs whose websites he designed and supported. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. If you feel inclined, donations in Tim's memory can be made to any animal shelter or animal rescue organization. Online guestbook may be viewed and signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
