O'MALLEY, Velma Marie age 82 of South Farmington passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Nictaux Falls, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Ida (McKenzie) Newcombe, Sr. Velma enjoyed travelling around Nova Scotia, tole painting and crafts in general. She is survived by sons, Randall (Cathy) O'Malley, Chester and Steven (Marlene) O'Malley, Harmony; brother, Lloyd Newcombe, Jr. Grand View Manor, Berwick; Grandchildren, Gerry (Angie) O'Malley, Harmony; Angie (Gary) Ridgewell, Angus, Ontario; Devon and Tyler O'Malley, Chester; Great grandchildren, Jonathan, Hayley, Sarah and Abbey. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ken. By request, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Nictaux Cemetery.
