Yarn, Vera "Anne" – Age 69, of East Tremont, Kings Co., passed away peacefully, Friday, July 7, 2023, in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Leonore (Brydon) Spinney. Anne worked alongside her husband at Jordon's Welding as a bookkeeper and secretary. She was a very active member of the Kingston Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, watching sunsets, camping, and listening to loons. She loved her family dearly, especially her granddaughters. Anne is survived by her loving husband of over 51 years, Jordon; daughter, Lucinda Yarn, Toronto; son, PJ Yarn, East Tremont; sisters, Doris (Marshall) Schofield, White Rock; Cathie (Tim) Easter, Charlottetown, PEI; brother, Philip (Phyllis) Spinney, East Tremont; nieces, Jennifer Gutierrez, Candace Eakins, Stephanie Spinney, Denise Samson; nephews, Dwayne Schofield, Nathan Spinney; granddaughters, Bailey and Vienna Yarn; three grand-nieces and two grand-nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 2:30 p.m., in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 337 Hwy #1, Kingston, Nova Scotia.
