INGRAHAM, Verna Gertrude - 83yrs, of Middleton, NS passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Cole Harbour, she was a daughter of the late David and Rebecca Ada Jane (Nelson) Settle. Verna was a founding member of the Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, Middleton where she had served on the Ways & Means Committee for many years. She enjoyed sewing, tole painting, cooking and making porcelain dolls. Verna loved her family dearly, especially all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Aubrey Ingraham; daughter, Diane Ingraham, St. John's, NL; twin sons, Wayne (Candis) Ingraham, St. Albert, Alberta; Winston (Dianne) Ingraham, Sydney, NS; sister, Lorna (Laurie) Davidson, Dartmouth ; brother, Earle (Mona) Settle, Terrance Bay; grandchildren Ashley, Erica, Aubrey, Colette, Nicole, Winston Michael and great grandchildren Jenna, Jocelyn, Ashley, Kenzie, Cory, Kara, Mason and Phillip. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lois and brothers Lloyd, David and Keith. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and reception will be held 2:00pm Friday, September 6, 2013 in the Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, Middleton with Pastor Sweis Ubels and Rev. Dr. Bill MacDougall officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. By request, family flowers only.
