MacIntosh, Verna Belle - passed away December 22 nd , in the quiet sweet manner that was the hallmark of her life. She was predeceased by her sisters; Irene, Evelyn, Gladys, Hazel, Amy and her brothers; Bevan, Morris and Sterling. She is survived by her adoring husband Arthur, loving children; Michael (Sharon) Port Hardy, BC, Patricia (Ken) Calgary, AB and Wendy (Howie) Tremont, NS, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Picture a little girl who lost her mother at age 4 and grew to become a selfless, beautiful human being who provided love and stability to her family and warm tender memories to everyone who knew her and that is her legacy. No words can adequately express our thanks to the wonderful caregivers at The Heart of the Valley nursing home for their giving compassion and a special thanks to Dr. Michelle Saxon and the nurse Kim Grant for their heroic effort in keeping a cherished loved one with us as long as possible. Due to family logistics funeral arrangements are to be made at a later date following cremation. Donations may be made to the Heart of the Valley Recreation Fund or Charity of Choice.
